D acă un om încredinţează semenului său argint sau bunuri spre păstrare şi acestea sunt furate din casa celui din urmă, dacă este prins, hoţul trebuie să plătească dublu.

¶ When a man shall deliver unto his neighbour money or stuff to keep, and it is stolen out of the man’s house; if the thief is found, let him pay double.
