S capă-mă Doamne, cu mâna Ta, de astfel de oameni, de oamenii acestei lumi care-şi au partea în viaţa aceasta! Tu le umpli pântecele cu bunătăţile Tale, fiii lor se satură şi păstrează ce rămâne pentru copiii lor.

from men, with thy hand, O LORD, from men of the world, who have their portion in this life and whose belly thou dost fill with thy provision: they satisfy their sons and leave the rest to their family.
