C alul şi haina să fie date celui mai nobil dintre demnitarii împăratului, iar el să-l îmbrace pe omul pe care împăratul doreşte să-l onoreze, să-l plimbe călare pe cal prin piaţeta cetăţii şi să strige înaintea lui: „Aşa se cuvine să se facă omului pe care împăratul doreşte să-l onoreze!“

Let the clothing and the horse be handed over to one of the king’s most honored princes. Let them dress the man whom the king wants to honor and lead him on the horse through the center of the city. Have them make it known before him, ‘This is being done to the man whom the king wants to honor.’”
