A cum însă, dacă am găsit bunăvoinţă înaintea împăratului şi dacă împăratul găseşte că este bine să-mi accepte dorinţa şi să-mi îndeplinească cererea, să vină împăratul împreună cu Haman şi la ospăţul pe care l-am pregătit mâine. Atunci voi face aşa cum a zis împăratul. Ura lui Haman faţă de Mardoheu

if I have found favor in the sight of the king, and if it please the king to grant my petition, and to perform my request, let the king and Haman come to the banquet that I shall prepare for them, and I will do to-morrow as the king hath said.
