F iii lor au intrat şi au luat în stăpânire ţara, iar Tu i-ai smerit înaintea lor pe locuitorii ţării, pe canaaniţi, şi ai dat în mâinile lor pe regii acestora şi popoarele ţării, ca să le faci pe plac.

So the descendants went in and possessed the land; and You subdued before them the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, and gave them into their hands, with their kings and the peoples of the land, that they might do with them as they would.
