A u citit din Cartea Legii lui Dumnezeu în fiecare zi, din prima zi până în ultima zi. Au ţinut sărbătoarea timp de şapte zile, iar în ziua a opta au avut o adunare sfântă, aşa cum era rânduit.

Also day by day, from the first day to the last, Ezra read from the Book of the Law of God. They kept the feast for seven days; the eighth day was a solemn assembly, according to the ordinance.
