T ot poporul s-a strâns ca un singur om în piaţeta din faţa Porţii Apelor. Ei i-au spus cărturarului Ezra să aducă Cartea Legii lui Moise, pe care Domnul o poruncise lui Israel.

And all the people are gathered as one man unto the broad place that before the water-gate, and they say to Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses, that Jehovah commanded Israel.
