ş i le-am zis: – Noi, după puterile noastre, am răscumpărat pe fraţii noştri iudei, care fuseseră vânduţi neamurilor! Iar acum voi vă vindeţi fraţii, ca apoi să ne fie daţi chiar nouă de vânzare? Ei tăceau, neavând ce să răspundă.

And I said to them, “As we have been able, we have bought and freed our Jewish brothers who were sold to the nations. But you would even sell your brothers that they may be sold to us!” They were quiet and could not find a word to say.
