E i şi-au luat soţii dintre fetele acestora, atât pentru ei, cât şi pentru fiii lor. Neamul cel sfânt s-a amestecat astfel cu popoarele ţărilor dimprejur, iar cei dintâi care au fost necredincioşi au fost chiar căpeteniile şi dregătorii.“

For they have taken of their daughters for themselves, and for their sons: so that the holy seed have mingled themselves with the people of those lands: yea, the hand of the princes and rulers hath been chief in this trespass.
