E i au început să-L laude şi să-I mulţumească Domnului, cântând „El este bun! Îndurarea Lui ţine pe vecie faţă de Israel“. Şi tot poporul a scos un mare strigăt de bucurie, lăudându-L pe Domnul pentru faptul că fuseseră puse temeliile Casei Domnului.

They sang, praising and giving thanks to the Lord, saying, “For He is good, for His loving-kindness is upon Israel forever.” All the people called out with a loud voice when they praised the Lord because the work on the house of the Lord had begun.
