C ând constructorii au pus temeliile Casei Domnului, preoţii, îmbrăcaţi în veşmintele lor, erau pregătiţi să-L laude pe Domnul cu trâmbiţele, iar leviţii, urmaşii lui Asaf, – cu chimvalele, potrivit îndrumărilor lui David, regele lui Israel.

And when the builders laid the foundation of the temple of the Lord, the priests stood in their vestments with trumpets, and the Levite sons of Asaph with their cymbals, to praise the Lord, after the order of David king of Israel.
