S olomon făcuse o estradă din bronz şi o aşezase în mijlocul curţii. Aceasta avea o lungime de cinci coţi, o lăţime de cinci coţi şi o înălţime de trei coţi. Pe ea stătea Solomon, atunci când s-a plecat pe genunchi în prezenţa întregii adunări a lui Israel şi şi-a întins mâinile spre cer.

For Solomon had made a brasen scaffold of five cubits long, and five cubits broad, and three cubits high, and had set it in the midst of the court: and upon it he stood, and kneeled down upon his knees before all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven.
