D upă ce a fost terminată toată lucrarea pe care Solomon a făcut-o pentru Casa Domnului, Solomon a adus lucrurile pe care tatăl său, David, le închinase Domnului – argintul, aurul şi toate vasele – şi le-a pus în vistieriile Casei lui Dumnezeu. Chivotul este aşezat în Casa Domnului

Thus all the work that Solomon wrought for the house of Jehovah was finished. And Solomon brought in the things that David his father had dedicated, even the silver, and the gold, and all the vessels, and put them in the treasuries of the house of God.
