I ehoiachin era în vârstă de optsprezece ani când a devenit rege şi a domnit la Ierusalim timp de trei luni şi zece zile. El a făcut ce este rău înaintea Domnului.

Jehoiachin was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned three months and ten days in Jerusalem; and he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.
