S -a răzvrătit chiar împotriva împăratului Nebucadneţar care-l pusese să jure pe Dumnezeu. S-a încăpăţânat şi şi-a împietrit inima ca să nu se întoarcă la Domnul, Dumnezeul lui Israel.

And he also rebelled against king Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him take oath by God; and he stiffened his neck, and hardened his heart from returning to Jehovah the God of Israel.
