D ar Iosia nu s-a întors, ci s-a deghizat ca să înceapă lupta împotriva acestuia. El nu a ascultat cuvintele lui Neco, care veneau de la Dumnezeu, astfel că s-a dus să lupte în câmpia Meghido.
