A maţia însă nu a ascultat, fiindcă Dumnezeu hotărâse să-i dea pe cei din Iuda în mâna lui Iehoaş, deoarece căutaseră pe zeii Edomului.

But Amaziah would not hear, for it came from God, that He might deliver Judah into the hands of their enemies, because they sought after the gods of Edom.
