Î n timp ce acesta vorbea, regele i-a zis: – Te-am pus eu să fii sfetnicul regelui? Încetează! Sau vrei să te lovesc? Profetul s-a oprit, dar a mai adăugat: – Ştiu acum că Dumnezeu a hotărât să te nimicească, pentru că ai făcut lucrul acesta şi nu ai ascultat de sfatul meu.

As he was talking, the king said to him, Have we made you the king’s counselor? Stop it! Why should you be put to death? The prophet stopped but said, I know that God has determined to destroy you, because you have done this and ignored my counsel.
