S -a uitat şi iată că regele stătea lângă stâlpul său, la intrare. Căpeteniile şi trâmbiţaşii erau lângă rege şi tot poporul se bucura şi suna din trâmbiţe, iar cântăreţii cântau cântări de laudă cu instrumentele lor muzicale. Atunci Atalia şi-a sfâşiat hainele şi a strigat: „Trădare! Trădare!“
