D upă mai mulţi ani, Iehoşafat a coborât la Ahab, în Samaria. În cinstea lui şi a poporului care era cu el, Ahab a înjunghiat o mulţime de oi şi de boi. Apoi l-a îndemnat să-l însoţească împotriva Ramot-Ghiladului.

After some years he went down to visit Ahab at Samaria. Ahab killed many sheep and cattle for him and for the people who were with him. And he wanted Jehoshaphat to fight against Ramoth-gilead.
