A stfel regele nu a ascultat plângerea poporului, fiindcă această întorsătură a lucrurilor venea de la Dumnezeu, pentru ca Domnul să-Şi împlinească cuvântul pe care îl rostise cu privire Ieroboam, fiul lui Nebat, prin Ahia din Şilo.

So the king hearkened not unto the people: for the cause was of God, that the Lord might perform his word, which he spake by the hand of Ahijah the Shilonite to Jeroboam the son of Nebat.
