F iii lui Iuda au fost: Er, Onan şi Şela; aceştia i s-au născut din fiica canaanitului Şua. Er, întâiul născut al lui Iuda, era rău înaintea Domnului, astfel că El l-a omorât.

The sons of Judah: Er, and Onan, and Shelah: three were born to him of the daughter of Shua the Canaanitess. And Er, Judah's firstborn, was wicked in the sight of Jehovah; and he slew him.
