V ăzând că au fost învinşi de Israel, arameii au trimis mesageri şi i-au adus pe arameii de dincolo de râu, aceştia avându-l în fruntea lor pe Şofac, conducătorul oştirii lui Hadad-Ezer.

And when the Syrians saw that they were routed before Israel, they sent messengers, and drew forth the Syrians that were beyond the river; and Shophach the captain of the host of Hadarezer before them.
