S -a dus la Baal-Peraţim şi David i-a învins acolo. David a zis: „Dumnezeu i-a zdrobit pe duşmanii mei, prin mâna mea, precum apele care dau năvală rupând totul în cale.“ De aceea locului aceluia i-au pus numele Baal-Peraţim.

So they came up to Baalperazim, and David smote them there. Then David said, God has broken in upon my enemies by my hand like the breaking forth of waters. Therefore, they called the name of that place Baalperazim.
