A tunci Iehoram a trecut în Ţair împreună cu toate carele lui. Edomiţii îl înconjuraseră, pe el şi pe conducătorii carelor, dar el s-a sculat în toiul nopţii şi a scăpat din încercuire, iar armata lui s-a retras.

So Joram went over to Zair, and all the chariots with him: and he rose by night, and smote the Edomites which compassed him about, and the captains of the chariots: and the people fled into their tents.
