L e-au distrus cetăţile şi toţi bărbaţii au aruncat pietre în toate ogoarele, umplându-le astfel cu pietre. Au astupat toate izvoarele de apă şi au tăiat toţi copacii buni. Mai rămăseseră doar zidurile cetăţii Chir-Hareset, însă prăştiaşii au înconjurat-o şi au cucerit-o.
