„ Manase, regele lui Iuda, a săvârşit aceste urâciuni, a făcut mai mult rău decât tot ce făcuseră amoriţii înainte de el şi l-a făcut şi pe Iuda să păcătuiască prin idolii lui.

`Because that Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations -- he hath done evil above all that the Amorites have done who before him, and causeth also Judah to sin by his idols;
