P oate că Domnul, Dumnezeul tău, a auzit toate cuvintele lui Rab-Şache, care a fost trimis de stăpânul său, împăratul Asiriei, pentru a-L batjocori pe Dumnezeul cel Viu şi poate că Domnul, Dumnezeul tău, îl va mustra pentru cuvintele pe care le-a auzit. De aceea înalţă o rugăciune pentru cei care au mai rămas!“
