Î n timpul domniei lui Pekah, regele lui Israel, Tiglat-Pileser, împăratul Asiriei, a capturat cetăţile: Iyon, Abel-Bet-Maaca, Ianoah, Kedeş, Haţor, Ghilad şi Galileea, precum şi toată ţara lui Neftali şi i-a dus pe locuitorii lor în captivitate în Asiria.

In the days of King Pekah of Israel, King Tiglath-pileser of Assyria came to fight. The king of Assyria took Ijon, Abel-beth-maacah, Janoah, Kedesh, Hazor, Gilead, Galilee, and all the land of Naphtali. And he made the people go with him to Assyria.
