Î n aceeaşi zi, regele a sfinţit mijlocul curţii, locul din faţa Casei Domnului, întrucât acolo a adus arderile de tot, darurile de mâncare şi grăsimea jertfelor de pace, deoarece altarul de bronz dinaintea Domnului era prea mic pentru a cuprinde arderile de tot, darurile de mâncare şi grăsimea jertfelor de pace.
