„ Marea“ era aşezată pe doisprezece boi, trei orientaţi spre nord, trei orientaţi spre apus, trei orientaţi spre sud şi trei orientaţi spre răsărit. „Marea“ era aşezată deasupra lor, astfel încât toată partea din spate a trupurilor lor era înspre interior.

It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east; and the sea was set upon them above, and all their hinder parts were inward.
