S olomon a aşezat heruvimii în mijlocul sanctuarului interior, cu aripile întinse. Aripa unuia atingea un zid, aripa celui de-al doilea atingea celălalt zid, iar celelalte aripi ale lor se atingeau una de alta la mijlocul odăii.
