C ând Izabela a auzit că Nabot fusese omorât cu pietre, i-a zis lui Ahab: „Scoală-te şi ia în stăpânire via lui Nabot din Izreel, cel care nu a vrut să ţi-o dea cu preţ de argint, întrucât Nabot nu mai trăieşte, ci a murit.“

When Jezebel heard that Naboth had been killed with stones, she said to Ahab, “Get up and take the grape-field of Naboth the Jezreelite for your own, the field he would not sell to you. For Naboth is not alive, but dead.”
