Î n ziua a cincisprezecea a lunii a opta, pe care o alesese singur, el a adus jertfe pe altarul pe care-l construise la Betel. Astfel, el a rânduit o sărbătoare pentru israeliţi şi se ducea la altar ca să ardă tămâie.

So he offered upon the altar he had made in Bethel on the fifteenth day of the eighth month, a date which he chose individually; and he appointed a feast for the Israelites and he went up to the altar to burn incense
