T rupul lui Amasa zăcea în sânge, în mijlocul drumului. Slujitorul lui Ioab a văzut că toţi luptătorii se opreau. Când a văzut el că fiecare om se oprea în dreptul lui Amasa, a tras trupul de pe drum pe câmp şi a aruncat o haină peste el.
