B ărbaţii din Iuda au venit şi l-au uns acolo pe David ca rege peste Casa lui Iuda. Când i s-a spus lui David că bărbaţii din Iabeşul Ghiladului sunt cei care l-au îngropat pe Saul,

And the men of Judah came, and there they anointed David king over the house of Judah. And they told David, saying, It is the men of Jabesh-Gilead that have buried Saul.
