S lujitorii lui Absalom au ajuns la casa femeii şi au întrebat-o: – Unde sunt Ahimaaţ şi Ionatan? – Au trecut pârâul! le-a răspuns femeia. Ei au căutat după cei doi, dar, negăsindu-i, s-au întors la Ierusalim.

And Absalom's servants came to the woman to the house, and said, Where are Ahimaaz and Jonathan? And the woman said to them, They have gone over the brook of water. And they sought and could not find, and returned to Jerusalem.
