L -a întrebat pe Amnon: – De ce tu, fiul regelui, arăţi tot mai slăbit cu fiecare dimineaţă ce trece? Nu vrei să-mi spui? – Sunt îndrăgostit de Tamar, sora fratelui meu Absalom, i-a răspuns Amnon.

And he said unto him, Why art thou, being the king’s son, becoming thinner from day to day? Wilt thou not tell me? And Amnon said unto him, I love Tamar, my brother Absalom’s sister.
