C el sărac însă nu avea altceva decât o mieluşea pe care o cumpărase. Avea grijă de ea, iar aceasta creştea împreună cu el şi cu copiii săi. Mânca din aceeaşi bucată de pâine cu el, bea din cana lui şi dormea la pieptul său; îi era ca o fiică.
