D ar Sem şi Iafet au luat o haină, şi-au pus-o pe umeri, au intrat în cort mergând cu spatele şi au acoperit goliciunea tatălui lor; feţele lor erau întoarse, astfel încât ei n-au văzut goliciunea tatălui lor.

Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it on both their shoulders, went in backwards, and covered the nakedness of their father. Their faces were backwards, and they didn’t see their father’s nakedness.
