V ederea lui Israel slăbise din cauza bătrâneţii, astfel că nu mai vedea bine. Iosif i-a apropiat pe cei doi fii ai săi de el, iar Israel i-a sărutat şi i-a îmbrăţişat.

But the eyes of Israel were heavy from age: he could not see. And he brought them nearer to him; and he kissed them, and embraced them.
