A poi s-au aşezat să mănânce. Dintr-odată au observat apropiindu-se o caravană de-a ismaeliţilor venind din Ghilad şi ducând în Egipt, pe cămilele lor, condimente, balsam şi smirnă.

And they sat down to eat bread; and they lifted up their eyes and looked, and behold, a caravan of Ishmaelites came from Gilead; and their camels bore tragacanth, and balsam, and ladanum—going to carry down to Egypt.
