F ără vărsare de sânge! a continuat el. Aruncaţi-l în această fântână din pustie, fără să vă întindeţi mâna asupra lui. Spunea aceasta pentru ca să-l scape din mâinile lor şi să-l aducă înapoi la tatăl său.

And Reuben said unto them, Shed no blood; cast him into this pit that is in the wilderness, but lay no hand upon him: that he might deliver him out of their hand, to restore him to his father.
