A stfel, Isaac l-a trimis pe Iacov şi acesta s-a dus în Padan-Aram, la Laban, fiul arameului Betuel şi fratele Rebecăi, mama lui Iacov şi a lui Esau.

Isaac sent Jacob away. He went to Paddan Aram to Laban, son of Bethuel the Syrian, Rebekah’s brother, Jacob’s and Esau’s mother.
