D umnezeu a auzit glasul copilului, iar Îngerul lui Dumnezeu a strigat-o pe Agar din cer şi i-a zis: „Ce se întâmplă, Agar? Nu te teme, pentru că Dumnezeu a auzit glasul băiatului din locul în care este.

And God heard the voice of the lad. And the Angel of God called to Hagar from the heavens, and said to her, What thee, Hagar? Fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad there, where he is.
