D omnul Dumnezeu a făcut să crească din ţărâna pământului tot felul de pomi care sunt plăcuţi la vedere şi buni de mâncat; de asemenea, în mijlocul grădinii se aflau pomul vieţii şi pomul cunoaşterii binelui şi răului.

And the Lord God made to grow out of the ground every tree that is pleasing to the eyes and good for food. And He made the tree of life grow in the center of the garden, and the tree of learning of good and bad.
