A llora mandarono l’arca di Dio a Ecron. E come l’arca di Dio giunse a Ecron, gli abitanti di Ecron cominciarono a gridare, e dissero: «Hanno trasportato l’arca del Dio d’Israele da noi, per far morire noi e il nostro popolo!»

And they sent the ark of God to Ekron. And it came to pass, when the ark of God came to Ekron, that the Ekronites cried out, saying, They have brought about the ark of the God of Israel to us, to kill us and our people.
