A llora Davide si levò, venne al luogo dove Saul stava accampato e notò il luogo dov’erano coricati Saul e il capo del suo esercito, Abner, figlio di Ner. Saul stava coricato nel parco dei carri e la sua gente era accampata intorno a lui.

And David arose and came to the place where Saul had pitched camp, and David beheld the place where Saul lay and Abner, the son of Ner, the captain of his host. And Saul lay in the trench, and the people pitched round about him.
