S aul seppe che Davide e gli uomini che erano con lui erano stati visti. Saul si trovava allora a Ghibea, seduto sotto la tamerice che è sull’altura; aveva in mano la lancia, e tutti i suoi servitori gli stavano intorno.

And Saul heard that David was discovered, and the men that were with him: now Saul was sitting in Gibeah, under the tamarisk-tree in Ramah, with his spear in his hand, and all his servants were standing about him.
