I l re disse a Doeg: «Fatti avanti tu e uccidi i sacerdoti!» Doeg, l’Idumeo, si fece avanti, si avventò addosso ai sacerdoti e uccise in quel giorno ottantacinque persone che portavano l’efod di lino.

Then the king said to Doeg, Turn thou and fall upon the priests. And Doeg, the Edomite, turned and he fell upon the priests and slew on that day eighty-five men that wore a linen ephod.
